06 Oct / Why is there a cutoff time for steps?

Why do I need to record my steps and activity every day by a certain time?

Each day in A Step Ahead: Champions constitutes a game turn. Turns have both a beginning and and end, and the cutoff time represents that transition from one turn to the next.

Additionally, there is some number crunching that goes on “under the hood” regarding scoring, Champions movement etc. that all take place during the transition between turns. Note that while the game will intelligently pull steps from a synced pedometer up to 1 day/turn in the past, if you’re inactive for several days in a row (which is not in the spirit of the healthy consistency goals of the game) you’ll be out of luck!
